I don’t know how our boat was on this side, we usually have a boat they boated across to the school every Sunday. Our brother-in-law Henry told Allan to go get the boat. The river was really high, flooded, and Allan swam across and carried the boat 500 yards upstream, and then he rode across to the other side of the river, and we all got on, went across, and walked to the school
