This particular story relates to an old lady that didn’t understand English. She was camped nearby an old married couple, and every morning, the man said “good morning” to her, which she incorrectly interpreted as him flirting with her.

(summary by Walter Stevens, Jan 23 2018): One time, in the late 1950s or early 1960s, my brother and I were attending the residential school over here. I don’t know how our boat was on this side, we usually have a boat they boated across to the school every Sunday. Our brother-in-law Henry told Allan to go get the boat. The river was really high, flooded, and Allan swam across and carried the boat 500 yards upstream, and then he rode across to the other side of the river, and we all got on, went across, and walked to the school
